Join us on Wednesday 14th August 2024 where we will be hosting our Family Woodland Bushcraft and Cooking experience. Immerse your young explorers in an enchanting woodland through a range of fun activities designed to keep them entertained in the wonder of nature.
During your experience we will be learning:
Woodland identification
Basics of fire lighting
Den building
Preparing a cooked meal over the fire using a Dutch oven
To wrap up the day we will come together to enjoy the meal you created as well as some campfire treats.
This event is designed for young explorers between the ages of 7 and 12 although all are welcome.
Hosting this experience is Ian Henderson, a seasoned outdoor enthusiast with years of experience working and exploring the great outdoors with individuals of all ages. Ian, who serves as a walk leader for Boots-On-Adventures, also contributes his expertise as an outdoor educator in a local school so you’ll be in great hands.
Each child should be accompanied by a responsible adult for the entire session.
We will meet at Jays Wood, (Canterbury Rd, Boughton Bypass, Boughton-under-Blean, Faversham ME13 9FL) located just outside Faversham at 10:30am.
Due to the parking area being very small we ask that you park slightly down the road in the village and walk up to the woodland where you will be met with a friendly welcome by a member of the Boots On Adventures team.
The event will last approximately 3.5 hours finishing at 1400hrs.
The cost per child is £35. Adults are free.
A cooked meal, Hot drinks and squash will be provided.
If we can ask every participant to bring with them:

Once you have booked if you kindly fill in the contact form found at https://bootsonadventures.co.uk/contact-details-form so that we can ensure we cater for everyone correctly.
