Join us for the private view of 'Extraña: Between Shores', a solo show by artist and photographer Teresa Cabrera.
Through painting, photography, and collage, Teresa reflects on what it means to live between cultures, carrying fragments of home while shaping new ones. Her 35mm photographs observe everyday life and human connection, offering glimpses into stories that drift across borders and cultures.
Her work embraces the tension and quiet beauty of in-betweenness, inviting reflection, empathy, and dialogue about how we locate belonging between borders and 'shores'.
The exhibition launches on Friday December 12th 6-9pm, and will be on display until January 20th. The opening night will take place in SEESAW's cafe gallery, and is free to enter. The bar will be open for the night, and the venue is fully accessible. Access is via the sliding doors on the cobbled street. The exhibition can then continue to be viewed within the cafe's opening hours, Mon-Fri 8:30am-4pm.
SEESAW is an arts and culture venue and workspace located in 86 Princess Street, our aim is to connect with local artists to grow the creative scene in the North West. If you have any questions around accessibility, please contact Charlotte at hello@seesawspace.com. If you would like any more information on the exhibition, please contact Taome at events@seesawcreate.com.
