Leading from Within: Harnessing Embodied and Spiritual Intelligence

A one-day Integrated Leadership Encounter that invites leaders to engage deeply with both their somatic and spiritual systems. The experience enhances resilience, emotional intelligence, intuition, and leadership presence, while fostering a stronger inner compass of meaning, purpose and connection beyond the self. 

The Encounter weaves time outdoors, inviting the natural world to serve as an active partner in learning and reflection. Crafted for changemakers, whether organisational leaders, coaches, consultants, or activists, the Encounter offers a transformative space to realign, recharge, and expand the capacity to lead with clarity and purpose.

To lead in times of increasing complexity and uncertainty, leaders must engage with their somatic (embodied) and spiritual systems and integrate them into their psychological system. The Encounter offers a powerful pathway to this integration. This unique approach releases the psychological energy needed for complex thinking.

This Leadership Encounter takes place at Emerson College, situated in a 23-acre Biodynamic and Botanic landscape in the rolling countryside of East Sussex. We spend time in the beautiful gardens working with nature and in the Pixton Garden Room, a beautiful room with an open fire in the manor house, overlooking the College grounds. At Emerson College, lunch is the main meal of the day, made with delicious seasonal vegetables, often from the Emerson Kitchen Garden or from other local biodynamic and organic growers. The lunches are usually accompanied by a large bowl of fresh salad and followed by a tasty dessert.
