Join us at Blooms and Evergreen and craft a one-of-a-kind handmade journal using a vibrant medley of papers and textures.
Join us for a relaxed and inspiring evening of creativity at one of our partner venues. Hosted monthly on Thursday evenings from 7:00pm – 9:15pm at The Vine, Highgate Road (NW5), these workshops are designed to bring people together through the joy of making, whether you come solo, with a friend, or as part of a small group.
In this welcoming, guided session, you’ll be introduced to simplified traditional bookbinding techniques, reimagined in a modern and accessible way. Working with a thoughtfully curated selection of tactile materials, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind handmade journal.

What’s included
Knowledge required
No experience is necessary. This workshop is suitable for beginners as well as anyone who enjoys working with paper and creative materials.
What to bring
Just bring yourself. If you wish, you’re welcome to bring small pieces of paper or imagery you’d like to include in your journal, such as old school reports, wallpaper samples, or favourite magazine cuttings.
You’ll leave with a beautifully crafted, tactile keepsake, perfect for holding sketches, notes, or future ideas, and a renewed sense of creative inspiration.

Food and Drink

Getting to The Vine
The Vine is easy to reach. The nearest station is Gospel Oak (Overground), a 3–5 minute walk away. You can also use the Northern line to Tufnell Park or Kentish Town (7–10 minutes on foot). Bus routes 88, 134, 214 and C11 all stop nearby on Highgate Road.
