Peace poles are global symbols of unity, hope and cultural connection. This workshop invites participants to design and decorate their own peace pole using vibrant mosaic techniques. Guided by our experienced tutor, participants will learn how to cut, arrange and adhere tiles, glass and found objects to create unique and striking designs. Participants are encouraged to incorporate personal symbols, colours and messages that reflect their vision of peace.
This workshop will take place in the upstairs workshop area at the shop. If you have a disability which means you are unable to manage stairs, please contact Tina at Purple Shoots on 07909608437 and we can make alternative arrangements for you to participate in the workshop (this may be on a different day.)
Tea/Coffee and all materials are provided, however, if there is something you wish to bring to incorporate into your project, please feel free to do so.
30% of the proceeds from this workshop will go towards Purple Shoots.
