We can use different rhythms to be transported into a trance-like state. It’s a form of meditation that helps to bring clarity and a higher sense of harmony and order to our being. Sound journeys can open many doors into heightened conscious awareness.

The nearby Trenchard Street car park charges £4.50 for a 3 hour stay. This gives time to settle in, enjoy the event and have time to take it easy afterwards.
If you wish to lie down like most do, please bring something comfortable to lie on.

Please arrive 10-15 mins early. Doors are likely to be closed shortly after 7:30pm so not to disturb other participants. Please turn off mobiles before hand. Your temperature can lower alike when sleeping during the session, so it's best to bring extra clothing/blankets/cushions or similar especially in the winter. Many participants even bring sleeping bags and air beds.
Water is the most conducive kind of hydration for this type of event.

1. Health Conditions and Contraindications
Participants must disclose if they have any of the following conditions, as shamanic drum
journeying may not be suitable for:
Absolute Contraindications (Not Permitted to Participate):
● Pregnancy in first trimester
● Recent surgery (within 6 weeks)
● Active bleeding or hemorrhage
● Acute deep vein thrombosis
● Severe mental health crisis
● Currently experiencing migraine
● Acute psychotic episodes
● Uncontrolled dissociative disorders
Conditions Requiring Medical Clearance:
● Epilepsy or seizure disorders
● Metal implants (especially in skull, spine, or joints)
● Severe PTSD or acute trauma responses
● Pacemakers or other electronic medical devices
● Inner ear conditions or balance disorders
● Recent concussion or head injury
● Cardiovascular conditions
● Neurological conditions
● Severe anxiety disorders
● History of dissociative episodes
● Diagnosed mental health conditions
2. Participant Responsibilities
Participants agree to:
● Inform the practitioner of any changes in health status
● Arrive in a sober state (no alcohol or recreational drugs)
● Follow all instructions provided by the journey facilitator
● Signal the facilitator if experiencing any distress
● Maintain appropriate boundaries with other participants
● Honour the sacred nature of the practice
3. Journey Protocol
Participants understand that:
● Sessions typically last 90 minutes
● They should arrive 15 minutes before start time
● Late arrivals may not be admitted to maintain ceremonial integrity
● They should wear comfortable, loose clothing
● Personal items should be silenced or switched off
● They may experience altered states of consciousness
● They may experience emotional or spiritual responses
● Integration time is necessary after the journey
4. Wellness and Safety
The participant acknowledges:
● Shamanic journeying is not a replacement for medical or psychiatric treatment
● Effects can vary significantly between individuals
● They may experience temporary sensations during/after sessions
● They should stay hydrated before and after sessions
● They should not drive immediately after the session
● Integration support may be necessary
5. Liability Waiver
Participants agree to:
● Release the facilitator from liability for known/unknown risks
● Accept responsibility for their own physical, emotional, and spiritual responses
● Acknowledge that experiences cannot be guaranteed
● Waive rights to legal action except in cases of gross negligence
6. Privacy and Confidentiality
● All health information will be kept confidential
● Personal experiences during journeys will remain private
● Group sharing circles are confidential
● Photos/recordings are strictly prohibited
7. Cultural Respect
Participants agree to:
● Respect the ceremonial nature of the practice
● Honour any traditional protocols presented
● Maintain appropriate behaviour during ceremony
● Follow facilitator guidelines regarding sacred objects/spaces
8. Cancellation Policy
You can cancel tickets up to three days before the experience. After this period, you are
welcome to gift or sell your tickets if you can no longer make it.
