SEESAW presents Memory, a photography exhibition by Yaroslav Prytula, a Ukrainian-born photographer and visual artist based in Manchester.
Bringing together selected works created since 2017, the exhibition moves through different periods of Yaroslav’s photographic practice, with images made across Ukraine, the UK and other parts of Europe. The selection combines landscapes, portraits, still life and work drawn from personal photographic projects.
Memory brings these photographs together as fragments of different places, people and periods of time. Some of the earliest works were created in Dnipro, Ukraine, where Yaroslav grew up and first began developing his photographic practice, with later images reflecting the different environments and experiences that have shaped his work since.
The exhibition opens with a preview at SEESAW, Manchester, on 6 November, 6–9pm, and will remain on display until 1 December 2026.
Works presented in the exhibition will be available to purchase through SEESAW during the exhibition.
